Terms & Conditions

1. General
   1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made with Lakeside Stays, Inc.
   1.2 By making a booking, guests agree to these Terms and Conditions.
   1.3 Lakeside Stays reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
   
   
2. Guest Responsibilities
   2.1 Guests are expected to maintain a basic level of cleanliness during their stay.
   2.2 Guests are required to respect other guests, staff, and the property. Disturbing behavior or actions that disrupt the peace may result in immediate eviction without a refund.
   
   
3. Reservations and Payments
   3.1 All bookings must be confirmed with a valid credit card.
   3.2 A deposit of "first nights stay" is required to secure the booking.
   3.3 The remaining balance is due on the day of check-in.
   3.4 Payment can be made via credit card, debit card, or cash.
   
   
4. Parking and Vehicle Policy
   4.1 Parking is available to guests, but Lakeside Stays, Inc. is not responsible for any theft or damage to vehicles.
   4.2 Guests must adhere to all parking regulations and park only in designated areas.
   
   
5. Property Access and Emergency Situations
   5.1 Lakeside Stays, Inc. reserves the right to access guest accommodations in the event of emergencies or for maintenance purposes.
   5.2 Guests will be notified when access is required unless it is an emergency situation.
   
   
6. Force Majeure
   6.1 Lakeside Stays, Inc. is not liable for cancellations or disruptions in service due to events outside of its control, including but not limited to acts of nature, government actions, or other unforeseeable events (force majeure).
   
   
7. Cancellation Policy
   7.1 Cancellations made 2 days before the arrival date will receive a full refund.
   7.2 Cancellations made within 1 day of the arrival date will receive a 50% refund.
   7.3 No-shows will be charged the full amount of the booking.
   
   
8. Check-In and Check-Out
   8.1 Check-in is available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival.
   8.2 Check-out is required by 11:00 AM on the day of departure.
   8.3 Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability. Fees may be applicable.
   8.4 Early/Late check-in fee is $25 CAD plus HST.
   
   
9. House Rules
   9.1 Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all accommodations. A $250 cleaning fee will be charged if smoking occurs inside.
   9.2 Small dogs (only) are welcome in certain units. All dogs must be declared prior to arrival. A $150 cleaning fee will be charged for all undeclared pets.
   9.3 A pet fee of $25 CAD plus HST per night applies for all pets.
   9.4 Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
   9.5 Guests are responsible for any damages or losses incurred during their stay.
   9.6 Lakeside Stays, Inc. reserves the right to charge an additional fee for excessive cleaning if a unit is left in an unsatisfactory condition.
   
   
10. Liability
    10.1 Lakeside Stays, Inc. is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings.
    10.2 Guests use the facilities at their own risk.
    10.3 Lakeside Stays, Inc. will not be liable for any injuries or accidents occurring on the property.
    
    
11. Wi-Fi and Internet Usage
    11.1 Guests are provided complimentary Wi-Fi access and agree to use it in accordance with all applicable laws.
    11.2 Illegal or inappropriate use of the internet will result in immediate termination of access without liability to Lakeside Stays, Inc.
    
    
12. Age Requirements and Maximum Occupancy
    12.1 Guests must be 18 years or older to book accommodations.
    12.2 Maximum occupancy for each room type is strictly enforced and listed on the booking page.
    
    
13. Privacy Policy
    13.1 Guest information is collected for the purpose of processing bookings and providing services.
    13.2 Personal information will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
    13.3 Guests may receive promotional materials unless they opt out.
    
    
14. Complaints and Disputes
    14.1 Any complaints should be reported to the management as soon as possible.
    14.2 Disputes will be resolved in accordance with the laws of New Brunswick.
    
    
15. Governing Law
    15.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Brunswick.
    15.2 Any legal action arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be brought in the courts of New Brunswick.
    
    
16. Miscellaneous
    16.1 Lakeside Stays, Inc. reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
    16.2 These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
    
    
17. Video Surveillance
    17.1 For the safety and security of our guests, the exterior areas of Lakeside Stays, Inc. are monitored by video surveillance.
    17.2 By making a reservation, guests consent to being under video surveillance in the exterior areas of the property.
    17.3 Video footage is recorded and may be used for security purposes only. It will not be shared with third parties except as required by law.
